NaVOBA member Patrick Nelson was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from Pepsi Refresh Everything Project to launch a new website called Real Combat Life.
"The mission of Real Combat Life is to provide an online forum for our veteran’s to share their experiences from combat with possible therapeutic results and to also educate the public on what life is like in combat from a firsthand perspective," Nelson said.
Nelson is trying to get the word out about the site to encourge more veterans to take advantage of the opportunity. Presently, all veterans who share their stories recieve a free T-shirt, but Nelson said he wants to provide even more.
Visit www.realcombatlife.com to learn how to donate or help spread the word.
