Dr. Bakhtiar (Ardi) Pribadi is very new to the vetrepreneur game. After serving four years in the Air Force as a dentist, Pribadi said his dream was to become the Chief of Dentistry at the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Seattle. But, the desire to call his own shots and open his own practice became overwhelming and in 2010, he launched Autumnwood Dental.

“After the military my family and I decided we want to return home and stay there permanently,” Pribadi said. “It’s always been my dream to open a dental practice from the ground up.”

Like many vetrepreneurs, Pribadi new he was a great dentists but new little about running a business. He said he made a few costly mistakes, but learned a lot of valuable lessons. He also knew that his perseverance coupled with the values he learned in the Air Force would serve him well in his practice. He said his proudest moment came when he saw his first patient.

Autumnwood Dental combines current dental technology and innovative techniques with an emphasis on soft-touch patient service and comfort, Pribadi said. Pribadi and his team of dental professionals take pride in providing patient-centered care tailored to individual preferences.

Pribadi still strives to serve the nation’s military community. In Honor of Veterans Day Autumnwood Dental offered a special promotion for military, veterans and military active duty spouses including a free exam and X-rays ($225 value) on Veterans Day and a 15 percent discount on dental treatment for life.
