Booz Allen Hamilton has been a leader of strategy and technology consulting for 95 years. Diane Marsden, manager, Small Business programs for Booz Allen Hamilton said this award carries considerable significance to the company.

Booz Allen Hamilton has more than 80 offices with more than 20,000 employees and generates annual revenues in excess of $4 billion.

Marsden said the company understands how using veteran-owned businesses as part of their supplier diversity efforts is a proven and effective business strategy.

"Simply put, because veterans bring an expertise and a recognized skill set to our clients which include all Federal agencies," Marsden said. "Booz Allen's small business program serves as a facilitating mechanism for connecting Booz Allen's business leaders with small business entrepreneurs whom are significant contributors to our overall client solutions that endure."

Marsden said the company plans to build on the success it’s shared with VOBs by constantly searching for ways to enhance its efforts. In addition to the company’s partnership with NaVOBA, Booz Allen Hamilton has plans for extension of its outreach ability.

"We are expanding our small business program by adding staff to better support the high demand for and recognized value of small businesses to Booz Allen," Marsden said. "Additionally and specifically related to VOSBs and SDVOSBs, we have increased our outreach efforts such as being a sponsor of the upcoming 5th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo."
