
Ted Stazak, Membership Director
Ted is a seasoned media professional who brings two decades of proven consumer marketing to NaVOBA. As membership director, Ted Stazak is responsible for uniting veteran business owners through membership in NaVOBA.
Prior to joining NaVOBA, Ted spent 23 years in various marketing roles in the newspaper industry. Ted spent 14 years with Thomson Newspapers Inc., seven years with The Vindicator Printing Company, and two years with The Journal Register Company.
In his most recent role he served as Director of Circulation for The News-Herald in Willoughby Ohio, were he directed a department of 70 employees responsible for consumer marketing, distribution, and circulation accounting.
Ted completed basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and advanced individual training as a combat medic at Fort Sam Houston Texas. He then spent six years attached to the 107th Armored Cavalry Division and the 211th Maintenance Battalion of the Ohio Army National Guard.
Ted earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, The International Honor Society for AACSB Accredited Business Programs.
Ted is currently active in Boy Scouts of America, were he has served in numerous training and leadership roles. Ted completed Wood Badge training in March 2006. Ted also serves as a junior high school basketball coach in the Youngstown based MTC conference.
Ted is married to Karen and they have two children, Amanda and Joe.
